[tex]\frac{1}{3} * (s-2)=s+4 \\ \\ \frac{s-2}{3}=s+4 \\ \\ s-2=3(s+4) \\ \\ s-2= 3s+12 \\ \\ s-3s=12+2 \\ \\ -2s= 14 \\ \\ \boxed{s= -\frac{14}{2}=-7}}[/tex]
