A sample of gas in a balloon has an initial temperature of 43 ∘c and a volume of 1280 l . if the temperature changes to 88 ∘c , and there is no change of pressure or amount of gas, what is the new volume, v2, of the gas? express the volume numerically in liters.

At first we should change our temperature to kelvin:
273.15+43=317.15
273.15+88=361.15
So based on PV=nRT and P is constant:
(P/nR)=(T/V)=constant
(T1/T2)=(V1/V2) so V2=1457.58 liters
